Thank you for the question. I am still patiently waiting for the end of the ongoing intermediate cycle in gold. With a normal duration, the cycle should finish in a few weeks (maybe end of Sep). That would be the start of my long-term allocation. After that, even near cycle tops, I will only sell parts of the allocation, and keep the core position.
However, the intermediate cycle is now 161 days old. It is also very possible for the cycle to finish before the normal half-year duration. So, I am tempted a little to take a small position just in case if a new cycle is ready to start earlier than I expect.
